The 61st Annual Grammy Nominations have officially been announced as of Friday, December 7th, 2018. This year Kendrick Lamar leads with 8 nominations for his work on the Black Panther Sound Track including Album Of The Year. DrakeFollows with 7 nominations for his work on Scorpion including “Record Of The Year” for his single God’s PlanCardi B & Lady Gaga tie in at 5 Nominations as well while both battling for the crown for “Song Of The Year“.

The late rapper Mac Miller was able to snug up a nomination for “Best Rap Album” for his work on “Swimming“. It comes as no surprise that New Comers H.E.R & Chloe x Halle were both nominated for “Best New Artist“.  

The Grammy’s are set for Sunday, February 10th, 2019 on CBS at 8pm. ET/5p.m. PT.
